Happy Wednesday. Hope all is fine. We have a fun challenge at Decorate to Celebrate. For Challenge #58, we are asking you to create any project to be used as a party decoration (or party supply) for a BACK TO SCHOOL PARTY or CELEBRATION!! Let's celebrate EVERYTHING WONDERFUL about TEACHERS, APPLES, EDUCATION and MORE with your table decorations, party banners, pennants, yard signs, cupcakes, party favors and more!! :)
For my back to school project, I created a school bus filled with lollipops for my daughter to give to her teacher. I have 300 lollipops stuffed in this basket for the children. :) The basket cost 1.00 at the Dollar Tree Store. The bus is a cut from Stretch your Imagination cartridge. I cut Two buses on a 12 x 12 inch sheet of paper. I glued a bus on both sides of basket. The bus is 10 inches long. Origami Dress Card!
Hello all. Hope all is fine. Been very busy here. Can you believe summer is almost over. The children go back to school here on August 26. Here is a origami dress card I made. I always wanted to try this origami folding technique and here is the results. I can't wait to make more!!
This is where you find the tutorial I watch to make this origami dress. Had fun creating this dress card. This was easy to make. Hope you make one too. :) The card is A2 size 4 1/4 X 5 1/2 inch. To make dress I used a 6 inch X 6 inch piece of paper. This card was embossed with Cuttlebug Grace's Frame. I can't remember the paper designer. I had this paper already cut up in 6 x 6 inch pieces.
Thank for stopping by. Have a wonderful week. :)

DTC Challenge #57: Luau, Beach, or Pool Party!
Happy Wednesday. We have a fun challenge over at Decorate To Celebrate. For Challenge #57, we are asking you to create any project to be used as a party decoration (or party supply) for a LUAU, BEACH, OR POOL PARTY or CELEBRATION!! Let's celebrate EVERYTHING WONDERFUL about SUMMERTIME GET TOGETHERS with your table decorations, party banners, pennants, yard signs, cupcakes, party favors and more!! :)
For this Luau, Beach, or Pool Party challenge I decorated a glass candle jar for the table. I wrapped green floral wire around the jar. Twisted a piece of wire with tool posted below to create a carry handle for the candle jar. This is so beautiful lit up on the table. I purchased the green floral wire, jar, candle and green craft gems from the Dollar Tree Store. The sea shells my Daughter collected from the beach! I made this back in June. I save this project to post for this challenge. A few of my friend seen it and wanted me to create one for them.
Here is a close look at the twisted floral wire.
Here is the tool I used to twist the floral wire to make the carry handle for candle jar. The tool is called a wild wire twister. It twists wire for jewelry or what ever.
Have a wonderful week. Thanks so much for stopping by! ;)
