Hello all. Hope you all are having a great week!! We been getting a lot of snow here. I been spending a lot of time shoveling snow and cleaning all the salt of  my floors. When is it going to come to a end.  I can say I am sick of Winter and ready for Spring. I have a fun wire jewelry Project to share. I been wanting to make one of these wire bracelet and I finally made one. I used green wire since St Patrick's Day is coming around in March. This is not my idea. Here is the LINK if you want to see the tutorial on how to make one of these wire bracelet. I made my bracelet a little different.:) I wrapped wire around the front of bracelet. DTC Challenge #69: 3D Flowers or Birthday!!

Happy Wednesday to you all! Hope your week is going great. It's time for another challenge over @ Decorate to Celebrate!! For Challenge #69, we are asking you to create 3D FLOWERS Flowers or any BIRTHDAY PARTY DECORATIONS!! :)
For my 3D flower project  I created 3D  Felt flower hair barrettes for party favors. I made these for my daughter 9th Birthday Party to give to the girls at the party. All the girls loved them. :)  For this project I purchased felt, hair barrettes. The flower  is a Spellbinders Shapeabilities  1 Template ( Spiral Blossom Three) Die Cut. I  ran the Spellbinders Die Template through the CuttleBug on felt. Then I rolled the felt up to form a flower. I  hot glued as I rolled flower up to keep it together. I hot glued flower on  hair barrettes and put a small piece of felt on back of barrette where flower was glued. I used different color hair barrettes and felt!! :)
I put the  Felt flower  hair barrettes on a small note card and wrote "Thank you for coming to celebrate my Birthday Party". on inside of card. The boys we gave them a dollar toy with a thank you for coming to party  note card taped on it. Well got to go now! Hope you love my 3D flower party favor project!!!

Glass Block Photo Idea!!

Happy Sunday to all my friends and followers. I hope you had a great day. I have a Glass Decor Block project to share.  I've been making these glass block for family and  friends but never made one for me. Here is my personalize glass block I made for me. This a photo of my Wedding Day! :)
On the other side of glass block I put a photo of my son and daughter. Click any photo to see a little larger!
Here is the items I used  and how I made this photo Glass  Decor Block. For this project, I purchased a Glass Decor Block, Set of 20 mini indoor white light, Avery Clear Sticker Project Paper, Translucent Vellum Paper and Plaid Mod Podge Gloss- Lustre waterbase sealer. I measured a piece of Vellum to fit front and back of glass block. I punched the edges of the Vellum with the Martha Stewart flower bed punch.  Then I Modge podge the punch edge Vellum paper to glass block and let dry. I printed the photos out on Avery Clear sticker project paper and then applied  photo sticker on top of  punched edge Vellum paper on glass block. So glad I finally made one for me! I really love how it looks. :) Here is a side view!

Repurpose/Recycled Glass project!

Hello to all my blog friends! Hope you week is going wonderful. I have a repurpose/recycled glass jar project to share with you. This is a oriental food jar. I used all the sauce and thought this jar would look great recycled as a flower vase. :)  Here is the results. What do you think about it?
For this repurpose / recycled glass jar  project. I used a food jar and recycled it, artificial flowers, decorative tape and some white glass paint. I painted the jar first and let paint dry. Then I took some decorative tape and went around jar!! I put some artificial flower in the jar. This is so pretty. It really doesn't look like a food jar. So easy to do. I love how it turned out. Here is a close up of jar.

Pom Pom Bear Wreath!

Hello all! Hope you are having a great day. I have a pom pom project to share with you. This pom pom wreath idea came from HERE. I seen this pom pom bear wreath and you know me I had to make one!!! For my pom pom bear I used the Susan bates 4 different size pom pom maker.
I used the 3.5 inch pom pom maker to make (1) bear head.  I made (8) 2.0 inch pom pom for arms and legs. I used the 1.0 inch pom pom to make (2) ears. I used the 1.75 inch pom pom to make nose. I purchased the (3) black pom pom for eyes and on top of tan nose of bear. The wreath I used measured 8.0 inches. I made this for my Brother and gave it to him on Thursday. He had to get surgery that day.
