A paper rosette stand!!

Hello everyone. Hope you are having a wonderful day. It's rainy here. Here is a great idea for any Cricut cut. If you need your project to stand up on a table or desk. I made a paper rosette to use as a stand. Is that a great idea or what? My Daughter wants to give some paper flowers to her Teacher and this will work out great. The Teacher can put this flower decoration on her desk.

Cut the flowers out in all different sizes and layer them. This flower is on the Flower Shoppe cartridge and is on page 14. Only used the Heart2 cut. Would tell you what size I cut the flowers but I used my Gypsy and I don't know the size. Used two 12 x 12 sheet of paper to make these flowers. One solid paper and a pattern paper. Purchased the round wood dowel sticks from WM. Glued everything with hot glue. I had alot of fun creating this project. Didn't know if it would stand up and it did!! I will be making more of these. I love how it looks ;)

To make rosette. I used a red poster board and Cut a 3 inches wide by 22 inches long. Score every 1/2 inch. Used MS Flower Bed edge punched on outer edge of rosette. Here's a link that shows how to make a rosette for a card.

Linking these project up to these challenges.
