DTC Challenge #43 - Super Bowl / Sports Party!!
Happy Wednesday!Hope you are having a great week! Time for another fun challenge at Decorate to Celebrate and we hope you join us. For Challenge #43, we are asking you to create any project to be used as a party decoration (or party supply) for a SUPER BOWL or SPORTS PARTY!! Let's celebrate EVERYTHING WONDERFUL ABOUT FOOTBALL, BASEBALL, SOCCER, and MORE with your table decorations, party banners, pennants, yard signs, cupcakes, party favors and more!! :) For my Sports Party I created football popcorn wrappers and some yummy cupcakes!! To make popcorn wrapper for microwave popcorn packs. I measured and cut a piece of brown construction paper to fit around the popcorn pack and adhered it together in back. I cut some white strip to make football lace on front of pack. Then I took a black gel pen to outlined the football lace on brown construction paper. Very easy to make. The popcorn can be popped at the party or they can take unopened pack home with them.
No! :) I did not make the cupcakes from scratch. I did not feel like getting all those items together to make them from scratch. I made them the easy way;) I purchased the cake mix in the box and icing in container from the grocery store.
Here a close up of all those yummy cupcakes! The little football eggs was purchased from the Dollar Tree Store in the Easter item area. These football eggs can be stuffed with treats for Easter egg hunts. Now it's your turn to create a new Sports Party decoration or party supply. You can link it right HERE :)
Have a great week all! Thank you for stopping by. ;)

Battery Operated Flower Tealight!
Happy Wednesday, everyone! Hope your week is going great. I have a awesome project to share today! These flower tealights was a requested by a friend. I made the battery operated tealight look like a flower. I took the artificial flower apart from the stem and I hot glued it to the tealight. The ribbon, artificial flowers, glass jar and battery operated tealights all were purchased from the Dollar Tree Store. Here is a pretty pink flower.
Here is a red flower. I made these for Valentine's Day.
Here is the pink flower in a glass jar. This one here is going to be used as table decorations for a party. The person who has the same number under their cup at each table get to take the table decoration with them:)
Here it is lite up in the dark.
