Happy Wednesday, everyone! Hope you are having a great day. I'm so glad you stopped by to take a look at my gorgeous Wedding project idea!!! ;) We are having another fun challenge at Decorate to Celebrate. For Challenge #45, we are asking you to create any project to be used as a party decoration (or party supply) for a WEDDING or ENGAGEMENT PARTY or EVENT!! Let's celebrate EVERYTHING WONDERFUL ABOUT SAYING "I DO!" with your table decorations, party banners, pennants, yard signs, cupcakes, party favors and more!! :) For this Wedding party challenge I created this beautiful centerpiece decoration for the Guest table.
I handmade the roses with white gift tissue paper. Here is a great VIDEO that shows how to make these roses. These tissue paper roses are quick and inexpensive to make. Here is a close up of the tissue paper rose I made.
I also created this beautiful vase to put the roses in. This was a clear glass flower vase I purchased for a dollar. I applied Modge Podge over the whole vase and adhered strips of white gift tissue paper over whole vase and let dry. Then I applied another coat of Modge Podge to the white gift tissue paper on vase to give it a shiny look. This technique is called tissue paper decoupage craft. This tissue paper comes in a lot of different colors. Now it's you turn to create a Wedding/Engagement party decoration. You can link it right HERE!
Have a great week. Thank you for stopping by and checking out my Wedding Decoration project idea ;)

ReplyDeleteHey there,
ReplyDeleteStopped by from the blog hop. Beautiful blog you've got going here. I do love your project. I had to stop by here, cause if you would believe it, I designed weddings professionally for a very long time. I would design weddings upwards of $100,000.
It was so much fun. I would love to get it going again, once I have the time to devote to all the details and such (when the kids get older). Just reading your blog brought back some very special memories of working with couples - hand and hand - creating dreams.
Good for you!
I found your blog today via the weekend hop, and I am in love! <3, I will be back, like every day!
