Hello everyone. I hope your week is going great so far! I made this for a friend of mine. She wanted a flower and butterfly hanging project. This is what I came up with. I used the thickest chip board I could find for the circle. The chip board didn't cut out on 4 multi cut with the Cricut E. I had to finish cutting it out with my scissors because the chipboard was to thick. I wanted the circle to be sturdy. I used Plantin School book to cut out the roly poly circle on page #72 of handbook.
I punched hole with my crop a dile and set eyelets at top. I used natural raffia for the hanger and made some tied bows with the raffia on project:)
If you want to know what I used to make 3D Carnation dimensional flowers. Look here. This is my first time using this tool and I love it:) The flower are really beautiful with this tool!
Butterflies is a black and white print out. I colored the butterflies with pastel color memory pencils. I used glitter glue around edges of butterflies. Here is a close up. I had to let you see how pretty they really are ;) I had alot of fun making this project. I'm getting ready to make some more flowers with the flower tool! I'm linking this project to Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge "Winged Things".
Thank you for stopping by. Have fabulous week all:)
