For this challenge I made a delicious chocolate cake with cake banner. This cake is 9 inches round  with two layers. You can find the cake recipe right HERE.

DTC Challenge #46: St Patrick's Day!!!

Happy Wednesday, everyone!! It's time for another fun change at Decorate to Celebrate. For Challenge #46, we are asking you to create any project to be used as a party decoration (or party supply) for a ST. PATRICK'S DAY PARTY or EVENT!!  Let's celebrate EVERYTHING WONDERFUL ABOUT LEPRECHAUNS, SHAMROCKS, RAINBOWS, and POTS O' GOLD with your table decorations, party banners, pennants, yard signs, cupcakes, party favors and more!!  :)
For my project I created this St Patrick's Day Lucky Banner. This banner was super easy to created in My Memories Suite Digital Software. I printed his banner out with my printer and I cut out banner pennants with scissors. I punched holes with my Crop-a dile in each banner pennants and put jute twine so I could hang banner on wall. I embellished the banner with shamrocks and green ribbon I purchased from the Dollar Tree Store. I saved the banner printable file so I could share and Email it my friends. :) All my friends have to do is print it out on 8 1/2 X 11 inch white card stock, cut out with scissors and assembly it!!! Each banner pennants measures 5 1/4 inch wide X 7 5/8 inch height. My Memories Suite has a SVG file it can be save in. If it is saved in SVG file you need to have a cutting machine like a Silhouette Cameo and it will cut banner and print it out for you. I never save my file as SVG file  because I don't have a Silhouette Cameo.

Now it is your turn to create a project. You can link your project up HERE!

Have a great week. Thank you for stopping. ;)

Photo Banner Idea!

Hello everyone! Hope your day is going great. Here is a banner I made. I created this banner with chipboard coasters and add some photo to them. I purchased a 20 pack of coasters at the Dollar Tree store for one dollar;) I used the Xyron 510 to apply adhesive to back of pictures and to laminate the coasters . The Xyron is a sticker maker, laminator, label maker and magnet maker. I had this for Xyron for a few years.
I applied Xyron Permanenet Adhesive to the back of all photos and adhered them to the coasters. Then I changed the Cartridge in the Xyron to the Two- sided Laminator cartridge and laminated the coasters. This put plastic over the coaster to protect the pictures and coasters. I punched holes with the Crop -a -dile hole punch and add ribbon and tulle to make a banner! I made a few of these for a couple of my friends and they love them. I love how this one turned out:)
Thank you for stopping by:)

#1 Dad banner!

Happy Wednesday all! Here is a banner I made for my Dad for Father's day. I made my Mom one for Mother's Day and I liked it so much. I had to make my Dad one too. The 12 x 12 pattern paper is 8 count for $1.00 from Target and the textured tan paper is from Walmart. I bought the tan ribbon from Dollar Tree Store for $1.00. The Dad, Grandpa tag and tan rhinestones I won from a blog friend. I used the Cricut Birthday Bash cartridge for banner cuts and letters. I love this cartridge :)

Here is a close up of the Dad tag. This paper is great for a manly project.

Here is a close up of Grandpa tag.

Have a great week. Thanks for looking:)

#1 Mom Banner!

Hello all! I hope your week is going great so far. Here is a mom banner I made. I used the Martha Stewart paper for this banner and some green, yellow and pink Prima flowers. I set eyelets and put light green tulles through the eyelets. I used the Birthday Bash Cartridge for banner on page #62, letters and number cuts.

This heart flower is from the Sweethearts Cartridge on page #73.

I love to make these kind of banners because they can be personalized.

Have a great week all and thanks for the visit:)

Name banner and initial card!

Here is a personalize name banner and initial card I made with the Mini Monograms cartridge. I made alot of these but I never posted any on here. I thought I would post so you all could see. This banner is so easy to make and is very pretty. The cut size for banner and card I will add at bottom of post. Click on any photo to enlarge it!
I used white tulles and pink lacy ribbon through the eyelets on banner. To punch holes and set eyelets I used the Crop- A Dile II Big Bite.
My family and friends love these name banners.

To make card I trimmed a 8 1/2 by 11 in cardstock. I trimmed it 4 1/4 in by 11in. Then I score at 2 3/4 in and then at 8 1/4 in and then I folded on score lines to make a gate fold card. I embossed the card with Cuttlebug Perfectly Paisley folder.
Cartridge used:

Mini Monograms (square scallop on page #129 cut at 4 1/4 inches, square shadow on page # 85 cut at 3 3/4 inches and square dots letters cut at 3 3/4 inches).
