Bookmarks - Love Each Other!

Hello all. I hope you all had a great week. I haven't had much time this week to create projects and blog. I've been busy with everyday things like work, housework and helping my daughter with school activities. Some times life can get out of control. There is to much to do and not enough time to do it. :) Today I am sharing some bookmarks I created in My Memories Suite Digital Software. If you want to purchase the software you can use the code posted on my side bar to get a discount.
If you like these bookmarks and you want to make some. I will share the free printable by email for personal use only. Email me and let me know you want the bookmarks and I will email the printable to you. This printable is ink friendly. It doesn't use up much ink. I used white cardstock to print these bookmark out.I punched holes with the crop a dile and add ribbon to the bookmarks. Used Your Story to laminated the bookmarks. I always laminate my bookmarks so they will last longer.
Have a great weekend and Happy Mother's day to all you Mothers out there.

My Memories Suite Digital Bookmarks!!

Hello everyone! I hope you all are having a wonderful Tuesday. Look what I created today with the My Memories Suite Digital Scrapbooking Software. Had so much fun creating these bookmarks and they look so nice printed out too! Who doesn't need a bookmark? I use bookmarks all the time to keep track of the page I stop reading.

Here is my finished bookmarks. Bookmarks measured size is 2 inch wide by 6 inch height. Printed them out on a 8 1/2 by 11 inch white card stock and cut them out with my scissors. Laminated all the bookmarks with the Your Story Book Binder / Laminating Machine. I always laminate my bookmarks. They will last a lot longer laminated. Punched holes with the Crop-a-dile hole puncher and tied a small piece of ribbon through punched hole.

Rounded corner on these bookmarks with a corner rounder punch.

Here is a close up of some of the bookmarks. These are really super easy to create with this software. Wanted to show something different that can be created with this software besides a scrappage layout ;)

Hope you enjoyed my bookmark creation with the My memories Suite Digital Scrapbooking Software. Here is a code to use if you want to purchase the software. USE this code STMMMS15941 to get discount and coupon.Get $10 discount off software download and another $10 coupon in your email to spend in the My Memories store. That a $20 Value!!

Have a wonderful week all. Thank you for stopping by and looking:)

Back to school Teacher's Gift!

Hello everyone! Hope you all are having a great day! This is a gift for the Teacher. I took a empty corn can and adhered foam sheet to can with hot glue gun. This is a great way to recycle some of those empty cans and create something nice for someone! My DD and I made 21 bookmarks for the can. My DD added all the stickers to the cardstock . I bought (2) packs of the stickers at the Dollar Store for $2.00. Click on any photo to enlarge!
The Teacher can used it as a pencil and pen holder when all the bookmarks are gone. This is a cute gift for the Teacher.
This photo shows all the different stickers used. I laminated all the bookmarks with the Your Story Book binder/ laminator and punched the holes with Crop-A-Dile and tied red and green ribbon through the holes on the bookmarks. Bookmark size is 2 inches by 7 inches.

Cartridge used:
Locker Talk ( book) on page #47 cut at 3 3/4 inches.

Accordian folder!!

Here is another folder I made. This one I wanted to make it clear. For this project I used (1) clear sheet 8 1/2 x 11 inch and (1) piece of 8 1/2 x 11 inch cardstock. If you want to know how I made the clear sheet. I made it with the Your Story book binder and laminator. Here is the link.
This is the side of folder. I like the clear folder I can see what ever is inside. This can be used for coupons, cards, pictures etc. Click any photo to enlarge.

Here is a tutorial on how I made the clear folder. I used a clear sheet 8 1/2 x 11 inch. I score at 4 1/2 inches and then 6 1/2 inches.

I then folded all the score lines. When it is folded it should look like this.
For the sides I trimmed (2) pieces of cardstock 4 inches x 8 1/2 inches. Score every 1/2 inches.
Then accordion fold ( press one way, then the opposite way). It should look like this here.
Then I adhere sides to folder with hot glue gun and then I took my Crop-A dile II and punched one hole through both sides and tied ribbon through the hole to make more sturdy. Punch (2) holes in front of folder and (2) holes in back and set eyelets to tie folder together at the top with ribbon. Folder size is 4 1/2 inches height X 2 inches Depth X 8 1/2 inches width.

Have a great day all!

Clear tag pockets with tags!!

Hi all! I hope you are having a great week so far. This idea is from Amy, A Scrap Happy Southern Bell blogspot. Here is the link if you want to check it out right Here. Amy is a very talented Designer. She used her laminating machine to make a clear sheet and created a easel card. I used her idea to make some clear Tag pockets and yes it does work! I love this idea! I don't have to buy clear acrylic sheets now. I can use the Your Story laminating machine to make a clear sheet. This tag pocket here I embossed it with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. I used the Cricut Expession to cut out pockets and tags.

This tag pocket here I embossed it with Cuttlebug Disressed Stripes folder. I used the Crop -A- dile II to punch holes and set the eyelets. The flowers are Prima Island Pastel flowers. I used a hot glue gun to adhere tag pockets together.

If you want the Cricut DesignStudio cut file, I created . You can get it Here ! This cut file makes (2) Tag pockets on 8 1/2 by 11 inch clear sheet or cardstock, which ever one you use. You will need another 8 1/2 by 11 inch cardstock to make (5) tags. You will need pattern paper if you want to layer tags like I did. I cut more tags and cut in half to layer mine.

Cartridge used:

Tags, Bags, Boxes & More (Scallop top tag creative feature Blackout on page 91, cut a 5 inches and Tag pocket creative feature blackout on page 112 cut at 9 inches.

Have a wonderful week all!.

Message reminder project!

Hello everyone! I hope you all are having a great weekend. Here is a project I've been working on this week. I got the watermelon letterhead paper from the Dollar tree store fourty sheet for 1.00. When I seen this paper I knew I wanted to make a laminated magnet message reminder card for the refrigerator. I laminated the watermelon paper with the Your Story. I added some magnetic tape on the back of the laminated watermelon paper and I bought some magnetic Dry Erase Markers.
Everyone of my friends seen it and now they all want one for their refrigerator. These are really easy to make. Get some pretty letterhead paper like I got and laminated it and it can be wrote on over and over again! I like it because I can write down important message and it can be erased. I got the Magnetic dry eraser markers at Wal-mart. I cut the Summer out with the cricut and glued it to letterhead paper. I hope you all like it.
This paper is so pretty! Im going to make a lot of these! Enjoy your weekend everyone!

Cartridge used

Stretch your Imagination (summer) cut on page #32.
